Improved Our Infrastructure
- Marina helped get $10 million dedicated to street projects in our district.
- Together with her team, Marina has gotten over 2000 potholes in District 7 filled.
- Marina brought home funding to improve 141 streets in District 7.
Put Public Safety First
- Marina voted to approve funding for the removal of homeless encampments across San Antonio.
- Marina has installed 18 new stop signs in neighborhoods and upgraded 16 more to be flashing stop signs.
- Under Marina's leadership, criminal citations for irresponsible pet owners have increased 333% compared to this time last year.
Supported our Seniors
- Marina proposed and implemented the Senior Assistance Pilot Program so seniors can get assisted in solving code violations instead of being penalized.
- She and her team regularly visit senior centers to check in on our District's seniors.
- Marina has held 14 Utility Assistance Office Hours Sessions, 8 Coffee With the Councilwoman Events, and 6 Districtwide Public Safety Town Halls and Public Input Meetings accessible to all residents.
